Change an Auger Assembly

How to Change an Auger Assembly

– Unscrew the Curb Form and remove it
– Remove the Chain Guard
– Unbolt the sprocket to release the Roller Chain
– Unbolt the Auger Assembly from the frame
– Unhook the Auger Assembly from the Roller Chain and remove it
– Put the new Auger Assembly in its place
– Put the chain back on the new Auger Assembly
– Re-bolt the sprocket and tighten the Roller Chain
– Bolt the new Auger Assembly onto the frame
– …and that’s it. Done.

That means either the MC 550 or MC 650 have the ability to extrude curbs that range from 4″ in height to 18″ in height by changing to larger or smaller Auger Assemblies…1 machine, but a lot of versatility.
